Alit Hide[]

Effects: Drain Intelligence, Resist Poison

Notes: The Alit is a bipedal, reptilian predator found in the province of Morrowind. A hard to kill creature, its thick hide is very valuable .

Ampoule Pod[]

Effects: Water Walking, Paralysis, Drain Willpower

Notes: The pod can be obtained from a Draggle-Tail reed, found in the Bitter Coast region of Morrowind.

Ash Salts[]

Effects: Drain Agility, Cure Blight, Resist Magic

Notes: Ash Salts can be found on the corpses of most Ash Creatures.

Ash Yam[]

Effects: Fortify Intelligence, Fortify Strength, Resist Disease

Notes: The Ash Yam can be found growing on most Dunmeri farms, and the farmers should be happy to trade some yams for a few Septims.

Bittergreen Petals[]

Effects: Restore Intelligence, Invisibility, Drain Endurance, Drain Magicka

Notes: The Bittergreen plant can be found throughout Morrowind, and is a very useful resource.

Black Anther:[]

Effects: Drain Agility, Resist Fire, Drain Endurance

Notes: A beautiful flower, the Black Anther also has very powerful alchemical properties.

Black Lichen[]

Effects: Drain Strength, Resist Frost, Drain Speed, Cure Poison

Notes: The lichen's black colour easily stands out on the rocks of Morrowind, making it hard to miss.

Bloat[]

Effects: Drain Magicka, Fortify Intelligence, Fortify Willpower

Notes: Bloat is the thick, pulpy-white tuber of the Bloatspore plant. It grows in dark, damp locations.

Bonemeal[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Drain Charisma, Increase Agility,

Notes: Although many see bonemeal as a boring substance, it possesses an abundance of alchemical properties.

Bread[]

Effects: Restore Stamina,

Notes: Easy to bake, every good alchemist should have a loaf of bread at the ready.

Bungler's Bane[]

Effects: Dispel, Drain Speed, Drain Endurance, Drain Strength

Notes: Bungler's Ban is a mottled brown and orange shelf fungus found attached to the trunks of trees, especially in the Bitter Coast region of Morrowind.

Chokeweed[]

Effects: Cure Disease, Drain Willpower, Restore Stamina

Notes: Chokeweed is a tough shrub that grows in the rocky highlands of the West Gash.

Coda Flower[]

Effects: Drain Charisma, Drain Intelligence, Drain Health

Notes: The coda flower is the fruiting body collected from the primitive draggle-tail plant of the Bitter Coast.

Comberry[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Restore Magicka

Notes: The comberry is a bush that produces a bitter berry, best known as the basis of the native comberry brandy, a rough but potent alcoholic beverage of Morrowind. Comberry is grown in the Ascadian Isles.

Corkbulb Root[]

Effects: Cure Paralysis, Restore Health

Notes: Corkbulb trees are grown for their tough, fibrous roots which have modest magical properties. On Vvardenfell corkbulb root is used in place of wood, since trees won't grow in this harsh environment. Corkbulb grows best in the Ascadian Isles.

Corpus Weepings[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Drain Willpower, Restore Health

Notes: Corprus Weepings are a form of solidified secretions found on Corprus victims, named in reference to the fact that the secretions eventually fall from the victim's body.

Crab Meat[]

Effects: Restore Stamina, Resist Shock

Notes: The meat of a common mudcrab is not only delicious, but also a very useful alchemical item.

Daedra Skin[]

Effects: Fortify Strength, Cure Disease, Paralysis, Swift Swim

Notes: Although hard to obtain, the skin of most daedra has many uses.

Daedra Heart[]

Effects: Restore Magicka, Fortify Endurance, Night Eye, Drain Agility

Notes: The Daedra's heart has modest magical properties, but, since removing the heart is generally fatal to the specimen, the substance is rare and expensive.

Diamond[]

Effects: Drain Agility, Invisibility, Reflect

Notes: Hard as they may be to break, diamonds can be very useful for any alchemist.

Dreugh Wax[]

Effects: Fortify Strength, Drain Willpower

Notes: Dreugh are powerful aquatic creatures, and hunting them for their hides and wax is a dangerous occupation.

Ectoplasm[]

Effects: Fortify Agility, Drain Strength, Drain Health

Notes: Fighting ghosts may not easy, but the ectoplasm they leave behind is a good enough reward.

Emerald[]

Effects: Fortify Magicka, Restore Health, Drain Agility, Drain Endurance

Notes: This distinctive green gemstone may be expensive, but it can make life-saving potions.

Fire Petal[]

Effects: Resist Fire, Absorb Magicka, Drain Health, Paralysis

Notes: As well as being a powerful ingredient, the petals of a fire fern can give one a complete fire resistance if placed under one's tongue.

Fire Salts[]

Effects: Drain Health, Fortify Agility, Resist Frost, Fire Shield

Notes: Fire Salts are the residue left behind by concentrated elemental fire, typically from the Daedra of Oblivion. The easiest way to obtain Fire Salts is to kill a Flame Atronach (which is easier said than done).

Frost Salts[]

Effects: Drain Speed, Restore Magicka, Resist Fire, Frost Shield

Notes: Frost salts are the crystalline compound that precipitates from elemental frost in solution. Such residues may be collected from the remains of Frost Atronachs that have been banished from the mortal plane.

Gold Kanet[]

Effects: Drain Health, Burden, Restore Strength

Notes: The Gold Kanet is a flowering plant commonly found in the Ascadian Isles and on Azura's Coast.

Guar Hide:[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Restore Charisma, Fortify Endurance

Notes: The guar is the dominant domesticated herd animal of Morrowind, and it's hide has strong alchemical properties.

Hackle-Lo Leaf[]

Effects: Restore Stamina, Paralysis, Water Breathing

Notes: Hackle-lo leaf is a tasty edible succulent leaf of the Grazelands, prized both for its taste and its restorative powers.

Heather[]

Effects: Restore Charisma, Feather, Drain Speed

Notes: Heather is a low evergreen shrub, known for its small, pinkish-purple flowers.

Nix-Hound Meat[]

Effects: Restore Stamina, Reflect

Notes: The meat of a Nix-Hound is not only a sweet delicacy, but also has modest magical properties.

Human Flesh[]

Effects: Fortify Health, Drain Intelligence, Drain Charisma

Notes: Although there are certain regulations on obtaining another person's flesh, this is a must-have alchemical ingredient.

Hypha Facia[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Drain Agility.

Notes: Hypha facia is a light brown shelf fungus collected from the trunks of trees in the Bitter Coast Region of Morrowind.

Kagouti Hide[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Resist Disease, Night-Eye

Notes: Kagouti are large, two legged creatures with horns native to Vvardenfellin Morrowind. Their hides possess modest alchemical properties.

Kresh Fibre[]

Effects: Drain Magicka, Drain Speed, Fortify Charisma

Notes: Kreshweed fiber is a resinous fiber with modest magical properties that comes from the coarse grass of the Grazelands and Azura's Coast called kreshweed.

Kwama Cutttle[]

Effects: Resist Poison, Drain Stamina, Water Walking, Water Breathing.

Notes: Kwama Cuttle is the tough, waxy substance found in a Kwama's beak. Although difficult to fight, the Kwama's cuttle has very powerful magical properties.

Corpusmeat Hunk[]

Effects: Drain Stamina, Drain Health, Drain Magicka

Notes: Precautions should be taked when handling corpusmeat, to avoid contracting corpus itself.

Kwama Egg[]

Effects: Restore Stamina, Frost Shield, Fortify Health, Paralysis

Notes: Kwama eggs are a rich, nutritious foodstuff, and they possess strong magical properties.

Luminous Russula[]

Effects: Water Breathing, Drain Stamina, Poison

Notes: Luminous Russula is a brown and green toadstool found in the Bitter Coast region of Morrowind.

Marshmerrow[]

Effects: Restore Health, Drain Willpower, Drain Fatigue

Notes: Marshmerrow is a reed that grows in shallow water, and can be found all across Morrowind.

Moon Sugar[]

Effects: Fortify Speed, Dispel

Notes: Due it being an ingredient in many narcotics, the trade of Moon Sugar is very limited.

Muffin[]

Effects: Restore Stamina

Notes: Although many see it as a common bakery item, I see a muffin as a useful alchemical ingredient.

Netch Leather[]

Effects: Fortify Endurance, Fortify Intelligence, Drain Charisma, Cure Paralysis

Notes: Netches are very tricky to kill, but their leather has powerful alchemical properties.

Pearl[]

Effects: Drain Agility, Dispel, Water Breathing, Cure Disease

Notes: These smooth, round, lustrous beads are prized for ornamental and alchemical purposes.

Cliff Racer Plumes[]

Effects: Drain Willpower, Levitate

Notes: Cliff Racers are nasty blighters, attacking in groups. Only the most skilled adventurers should attempt to fight one.

Ebony[]

Effects: Drain Agility, Cure Poison, Restore Speed

Notes: Raw ebony is illegal to mine without permission from the Empire, who own all of Tamriel's ebony mines.

Glass[]

Effects: Drain Intelligence, Drain Strength, Drain Speed

Notes: Glass (not to be confused with Malachite) can be bought from many general goods stores.

Ruby[]

Effects: Drain Health, Feather, Restore Intelligence, Drain Agility

Notes: Rubies are not only beautiful, but are also useful in many poisons.

Slaughterfish Scales[]

Effects: Drain Charisma, Water Walking, Swift Swim, Water Breathing

Notes: Killing slaughterfish is harder than it sounds. They have claimed the lives of may careless swimmers.

Scathecraw[]

Effects: Drain Strength, Drain Health, Cure Poison, Restore Willpower

Notes: Scathecraw is a tough, dark-red grass that grows in the ashlands of Morrowind.

Sload Soap[]

Effects: Drain Charisma, Fortify Agility, Restore Agility

Notes: What this soap lacks in cleansing power, it makes up for alchemical uses.

Stoneflower Petals[]

Effects: Restore Strength, Fortify Magicka, Fortify Charisma

Trama Root[]

Effects: Restore Willpower, Drain Magicka, Drain Speed

Notes: As well as being an alchemical ingredient, Trama Root can be brewed into a calming tea.

Vampire Dust[]

Effects: Invisibility, Fortify Health, Absorb Magicka

Notes: Certain individuals have been known to contract Porphyric Hemophilia from vampire dust.
