Arenar Valerius, known as Vozahlaas (Dovahzul:VOZAhLAaS Vozahlaas, "Immortal") or The Immortal (Dovahzul:THEMMMORTAL Faal-Vozahlaas, "The Immortal") was a demi-god hero of the High Rock Uprising and believed to be the son of Akatosh. He is central to the main questline in Vozahlaas.

  • His given name comes from both Latin and Greek words. Arenar derives from a masculine form of the Greek name Arena, meaning "the Holy", while Valerius comes from the Latin name meaning "to be strong".
  • Arenar Valerius is voice acted by Liam McIntyre, an Australian actor best known for his lead role in the Starz television series Spartacus: Vengeance and Spartacus: War of the Damned.
  • As the son of Akatosh, he posses the ability to alter and manipulate time. Being partially mortal, Arenar's abilities are nuanced, meaning he can only slow or stop it completely for certain lengths of time.
  • Arenar is the first NPC to validate that Tiber Septim joined the Nine Divines, when the Dragonborn witnesses Talos's message shortly before the Battle of Evermor.
