Alvor is a Nord blacksmith living in Riverwood in the year 4E, 201. He is the father of Dorthe, the husband of Sigrid, and the uncle of Hadvar. He is a minor character in The Man Missing from Time.

Early Life[]
Alvor lived a very quiet life in Riverwood. At 18, he met and married Sigrid. At twenty five years old, he took in his nephew, Hadvar, and raised him, as Hadvar's father in Helgen couldn't afford to raise both Hadvar and Hadvar's twin sister, Sotri. After Sotri and her father were killed in a dreugh attack, Hadvar turned to alcoholism, and Alvor and Hadvar's friend, Ralof, helped Hadvar get sober again.

The Man Missing from Time[]
After Hadvar and Lucius Morningblaze arrive in Riverwood, Alvor asks Lucius to get word to Jarl Balgruuf about the return of dragons.
