Lake Fortest

Lake Fortest is a large lake completely surrounding the island known as the Breeding Isle, in the Black Marsh island of Caload. The main bridge across the lake is located on the west side, between the small town of Empire, and the Morgoth Fortress. Another bridge is to the north, reaching the mainland between Fort Order, and the town, Caractacus. It is strongly disadvised that people swim in it, due to it being the breeding ground for a particularly deadly creature, known as the Cantamer, which is native to Caload. This is the only breeding lake for the Cantamer, and they seem largely confined to the lake and the regions around it. The banks of the river abound with mud crabs, but also contain a large amount of flowers. Clams can be found both on the shores of the lake and underwater.
