The Amulet of Joorsos is an amulet created by Sheogorath.
Origins[]
The Amulet of Joorsos was created by Sheogorath after he and Vaermina had a bet: If Sheogorath could guess the cure to vampirism, he would get all Vaermina's cheese. Sheogorath won then bet, but Vaermina had no cheese, and so lost nothing. After learning the cure to vampirism, Sheogorath made the amulet and enchanted it.
Effects[]
The Amulet of Joorsos will make the vampiric wearer look human, and have no thirst for blood. It also makes the wearer insane. Its effects do not work if the wearer is under the influence of alcohol.
Trivia[]
- "Joorsos" is Dovahzul for "Mortal Blood". However, Sheogorath did not mean for to name the amulet to be named that. He just named after the first sounds that came into his mind.
